Molly McDonald
Molly provides leadership for the firm and serves a dual role as senior writer/editor and presentation coach. Energy, health care, and trade association clients use her skills to develop organizational messages, marketing collateral, trade and technical articles, and books. More than a thousand professionals have sought her advice in delivering important presentations and handling media inquiries. Clients have appeared on the Today Show, Hardball, 48 Hours, and numerous local news programs.

Molly spent the first 15 years of her career as a consultant and businesswoman. Later she earned a graduate degree in communication. Molly worked as a freelance journalist and taught business writing, speech, and executive communication at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. She co-founded the company in 1997.

Bob Buckalew
Bob is a nationally known media consultant whose work has shaped the careers of hundreds of media professionals, executives, and students. Bob's training style recognizes each person's natural communication patterns. He builds on their assets to instill self-confidence and awareness. Trade associations, state agency directors, health care executives, and corporate spokespersons have consulted with Bob to improve their performances in media encounters.

Bob spent 30 years in broadcasting and his professional credits include producing for NBC's Today Show and Nightly News. He has been a television and radio producer, major market reporter, and news director. Bob holds a master's degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and has been an award-winning member of the UT faculty.

Mike Cox
Mike is a long-time freelance writer and editor who has written and sold 13 books and hundreds of articles over a long career. He spent nearly 20 years as an award-winning newspaper reporter-editor before joining the Texas Department of Public Safety in 1985. As the agency’s chief spokesperson, Mike managed media relations for several national and international events, including the 1993 Branch Davidian siege in McLennan County and the 1997 Republic of Texas standoff in West Texas.

After leaving the DPS, Mike worked as the member services director for the Texas Press Association and then joined the Texas Department of Transportation as communications manager in 2002. He retired from the state in 2007.

Mike is an elected member of the prestigious Texas Institute of Letters. In addition to writing, he consults, speaks, and leads seminars on topics ranging from Texas history to media training to effective writing.

Lisa McCafferty
Lisa McCafferty is a recognized expert in speechwriting and executive visibility programming. Her experience in audience analysis, visionary message development, and speech crafting helps clients deliver dynamic, relevant speeches. Her scripts are customized for each speaker and audience, and are designed to leave a lasting, positive impression on employees, analysts, and the press. Executives at Charter Communications, EDS, KPMG Consulting, Motorola, and Sprint have relied on her counsel and creativity to enhance their leadership positions. Lisa has been a communication professional for 20 years. After graduating from UT in 1983, Lisa developed her writing, public relations and marketing skills while working for the State of Texas, EDS, Antares Alliance Group, and Cunningham Communication. She has published articles on speechwriting in the Austin Business Journal, Presentations Magazine, and The Speechwriter's Newsletter. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism and Marketing Certificate from The University of Texas.
